Last Wednesday morning, I talked to my roommate named Eric. We mentioned health insurance. We calculated how much money we can save when we don’t buy health insurance, it can be up to over one thousand dollars a year. We could see that it’s a lot of money. But then we realized the benefits that we can receive from health insurance. We all have protection when we go outside and do many activities without worrying. Even in the worse situation that an accident suddenly happens with us. We don’t have to pay for anything, the company from which we buy insurance is gonna pay everything. Therefore, in our final consideration, we do agree that we should buy health insurance although no bad thing happens.

I realize that I missed speaking reflection for week 4 and 5, so last weekend I came back to Colonial Heights to have conversations with my neighbor about 2 topics. The second topic is about vehicles. We had a comparison between motorcycles and cars. We said that motorcycles cost less gas than cars. The insurances for motorcycles were also cheaper. But the main concern is about safety. It’s very dangerous when we drive motorcycles in the USA especially in free ways or high ways. Therefore, in our final consideration, we all agreed that safety is the most important issue and driving cars is the best way for safety

I realize that I missed 2 speaking reflection for week 4 and week 5 so when this weekend I came back to Colonial Heights to talk with my neighbor about 2 topics. The first topic is a bout trash recycling. We listed how many benefits would us receive from trash recycling. We can buy thing much cheaper. Also, everyone can protect the environment. After the discussion, we all agreed that we should try to recycle everything as much as we can. And of course, my neighbor and I always classify trash into many types: bottles, papers, glasses, etc. We are trying to protect the environment. Hopefully, everybody will do the same thing.

Last Tuesday night, I talked with my roommate named Eric about Byrd theater on West Cary street. This is the best theater ever which have regular features are just 2$/ person. Although it only presents old films which were showed about 2 months ago, Byrd theater has an unbelievable price. It also sells snacks and drinks cheaper than other theaters such as pop corn or soda. Anyway, Eric and I all agree that Byrd theater is the best place for watching films with spacious seats, nice snacks and drinks and great films.

On last Wednesday night, I went out with my cousin who is studying at Thomas Dale high school. We discussed about should every teenagers like us are permitted to drink and smoke legally ? And we all disagreed. Firstly, we’re still students. We can’t concentrate on school when we drink or smoke. The next point is heath issue. Drinking will destroy our stomachs, smoking will be harmful to lungs. And the last matter is money. It will cost much money for buying drinks or cigarettes. After talking, I decided that we shouldn’t permitted to drink or smoke. In my final consideration, i encourage every people to never smoke and drink in whole life not only under 21 !
